Dance Performance

Labour of Love

This piece was choreographed by Allé Holloway and Chandlor Buffalo to the song Labour by Paris Paloma. It was performed at the 2025 UH Goes to the Match showcase.

“The piece explores themes of labor, personal struggle, and the emotional weight of societal expectations. We are connecting the listener to the idea of working hard for something or someone, yet feeling the toll it takes on one's well-being from the female perspective and the many hats a woman wears.” - Allé Holloway

Drill Team - Senior Goodbye Dance (2023)

It is tradition on my high school drill team for the seniors to choreograph a dance together and perform it during our Spring Show. Here is our goodbye dance.

“Grief” Choreographed by: Destiny Miller

This dance explored the stages of grief, from denial to acceptance. Throughout each stage, we danced as an ensemble with a different dancer featured as the soloist for each stage. As the soloist for denial, my dancing was very shocked and dissociated.

Drill Team

I was on the drill team for all four years of high school! It taught me a lot about dance technique, hard work, and collaboration.
